Right now, I have a house full of people to play Halo 3 (a non-knitting video game) until the wee hours of the morning. I spend all day Friday and Saturday cleaning and fixing food so I can spend all day Sunday cleaning up the aftermath. I don’t even play video games anymore because they make me motion sick.
Why do I do this? Because I love my husband. That and he leaves me alone for the entire evening so I can get plenty of knitting time in.
Which is really good, because on top of all the holiday knitting I should slaving away on, I signed up for not one but 2 KAL’s: the Secret of the Stole and the Holiday KAL-CAL. The first because I’m still kicking myself for not joining the Mystery Stole in time and the second to help motivate me to do my holiday knitting.
