Peace Offering Scarf

I finally able to sit down and fine tune the Peace Offering Scarf Pattern. Gauge is not important, the weight of the yarn is flexible. Please feel free to use whatever yarn you want; the yarn listed is just what I used for the scarf. Also, the scarf can be made narrower or wider by adding pattern repeats.

Peace Offering Scarf

Yarn: Handmaiden Sea Silk in Vintage
Yardage: 400 m, 437 yards
Needles: U.S. Size 6, straights or circulars
Finished Dimensions: 10″ x 70″

Cast on 49 stitches in method of your choice. I tend to use the knitted cast on but any cast-on method that gives a firm edge will work.
Knit two rows

Pattern is a repeat of 9+2:
Row 1: K2 (k1, yo, k2, ssk, k2tog, k2, yo) 5 times, k2 -49 stitches

Row 2: K2, purl to last 2 stitches, k2-49 stitches

Row 3: K2 (yo, k2, ssk, k2tog, k2, yo, k1) 5 times-49 stitches

Row 4: K2, purl to last 2 stitches, k2-49 stitches

Repeat 4 rows until about 10 yards of yarn is left. Knit last two rows, bind off yarn and weave in ends. Block finished scarf by dampening yarn and pinning out to suggested finished dimensions.
